Cancellations

Weather, changes of plan, and what happens to your money.

The short version

If the weather stops you jumping, you do not lose your money — you move to the next window or another date, at no cost.

If you cancel, what happens depends on how much notice you give and whether the operator has already committed a seat or an instructor to you.

If you do not turn up, the slot is gone.

If the weather stops the activity

Skydiving, paragliding and snowboarding all run only in safe conditions, and the person on the ground decides what is safe. Diving is called on sea state and visibility.

If your load, flight or dive is held for weather you can wait for the next window the same day at no cost, move to any other date at no cost, or take a full refund of anything you have paid.

There is no charge and no admin fee for a weather move. It is the most common reason an activity does not run and it is nobody's fault.

If the activity is stopped part-way

If an aircraft turns back, a dive is aborted or a lift closes after you have started, the operator will either re-run the activity when conditions allow or refund the portion you did not receive.

On a multi-dive or multi-jump package, days already completed are not refunded — the days you did not get are.

If you cancel

Single-day activities — a tandem jump, a tandem flight, a discover-scuba day, a snowboard day. Cancel with more than 48 hours' notice and there is nothing to pay. Inside 48 hours the operator may have committed an instructor and a seat to you, so a charge may apply; we will tell you what it is before you confirm anything.

Courses. Cancel more than 7 days before the start date and any deposit is refunded in full. Inside 7 days the deposit may be held against the instructor time already reserved. Once a course has started it is not refundable, because the instructor is committed for its whole length — but it can usually be paused and resumed within the same season.

Multi-day trips and camps. These have fixed departure dates, flights and accommodation booked against them, and the terms are stricter. They are stated on each trip's own page and they are the terms that apply.

To cancel, message us on WhatsApp. A cancellation is effective when we acknowledge it, not when it is sent.

If you do not turn up

A no-show is treated as a same-day cancellation and the slot is not refunded. If something has genuinely gone wrong on the way, tell us as early as you can — we would much rather move you than lose you.

If we or the operator cancel

If we cancel for any reason other than weather or safety — a schedule change, an aircraft out of service, a course that does not fill — you choose between a full refund and an alternative date. Where the alternative costs more, we cover the difference.

We will never quietly move you onto a different package. Any change is offered, not applied.

How refunds are paid

Because payment is taken by the operator on the day, most cancellations involve nothing to refund — there is simply nothing to pay.

Where a deposit has been paid, it is returned by the same method it was sent, normally within 7 working days of the cancellation being confirmed. Any bank or transfer fee charged by your own bank is outside our control.

Travel insurance

We strongly recommend insurance that explicitly covers the activity you are booking. Many standard travel policies exclude skydiving, freefall and diving below a certain depth, and a policy that excludes the thing you came to do is not cover.

This policy governs what we and the operator refund. It cannot cover your flights, your accommodation or your time.
